Russert is the son of the late journalist Tim Russert and Maureen Orth. Russert graduated from Washington, D.C.’s St. Albans School in 2004. While he was at Boston College, he worked for ESPN’s Pardon the Interruption, where he double-majored in Communications and History and graduated in 2008.
